Reynolds Plantation is bringing tennis on par with its world-class golf thanks to 16 award-winning tennis courts managed by internationally-renowned tennis management company, Peter Burwash International.

Under the direction of 2000 PBI Tennis Professional of the Year Dave Neuhart, The Lake Club Tennis Center takes tennis to the next level with incredible amenities. Here, members, tournament participants and visitors will enjoy four state-of-the-art Har-Tru Hydro Courts and four traditional clay courts—all tournament-ready, lighted for night play and featuring spectator seating. A range of features complements this stunning center, including the Dartfish video system, which lets players analyze and correct strokes right on the court. A full-service pro shop, computerized ball machine, tennis packages, clinics, private lessons and impeccable, professional service round out The Lake Club tennis experience that helped Reynolds Plantation garner 2006 PBI "Tennis Site of the Year," and the Tennis Industry Association's 2007 "Top 50 Tennis Welcome Centers" recognitions. The tennis center was also awarded the 2009 USTA Facility of the Year Award winner as well as 2009 RSI Magazine Private Facility of the Year.

An increasing number of tennis events, including the 2006 ALTA Sportsmanship Reward Retreat and the 2007 PBI Tennis Show, are helping boost visibility of the Reynolds Plantation tennis program. Add two tennis courts at Linger Longer Park,two clay courts at Great Waters and four courts at The Landing, and members enjoy a world-class tennis program that reflects Reynolds Plantation's commitment to championship tennis.

Instruction

The tennis program at Reynolds Plantation is bringing the sport on par with golf, and that means providing advanced tennis instruction. Under the direction of Peter Burwash International Professional and Director of Tennis Dave Neuhart, tennis instruction at Reynolds Plantation is available to players of all levels. Lead instructor Danny Klein rounds out the instruction team, offering private lessons, clinics and state-of-the-art technology such as the Dartfish Video Analysis system—which provides stroke analysis right on the court.
