Kids

At Reynolds Plantation, we place a premium on fun, especially for our littlest members. A range of exciting adventures awaits children at Reynolds Plantation, from biking, hiking, fishing and boating to sports and family fun. Reynolds Plantation offers organized children's programs, too, from summer and winter Kids' Vacation Camps and Junior Golf Camps to the Reynolds Rapids Swim Team, and other seasonal specialty programming. For more information on our children's programming, contact Julie House at julz@reynoldsplantation.com or call (706)467-1464.

With an indoor pool and an outdoor pool with a waterslide, kids are in for a splashy good time at The Lake Club. There, little swimmers and burgeoning athletes can join the Reynolds Rapids Swim Team, under the direction of Olympic gold medalist and swim team coach Angel Martino. A bevy of children's activities are hosted at The Lake Club, including seasonal favorites like the winter Kids' Vacation Camp, Visit from Santa, parties and more. A Kids' Room offers the perfect location for games and family fun, and Kathy Café offers plenty of kid-friendly menu items.

Everyone is welcome at the Heritage & Nature Center, and this is especially true for children. We invite them to participate in our many interactive exhibits that feature animal and plant presentations. After eyeing our non-living creatures they can take in the many living ones as they pass our aquarium full of assorted fish, mussels, and crayfish from the lake on their way to our animal lab. Here they can look for our local snakes, turtles, and frogs that call the Nature Center home.

Kids are also invited to attend any of our special programming tailored just for them. From campfires and hotdog roasts to story-times and other programs, children get an insider's view to how we take care of our animals.

The Heritage & Nature Center takes great enjoyment in bringing the natural surroundings and history of our local area to the littlest members of Reynolds Plantation. We sponsor numerous events inspired to make discovering and exploring our natural habitats engaging and fun.
